Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach, a 12-time recipient of AAA's five diamond award, is offering guests two rounds of golf at Pelican Hill Golf Club--named among the top 100 courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine--as part of the hotel's Newport Beach Discovery Package. And to make sure no one is left out, the hotel is offering a spa alternative.
Guests can choose two rounds of golf, or two spa treatments, or a round of golf and a spa treatment with the package, that also offers rooms starting at $450 per night. That means guests can save up to a spectacular $600 on their golf and spa and other included extras--every day they stay.
The Discovery Package includes the golf and spa, accommodations and room tax, a special welcome amenity, complimentary continental breakfast for two, let parking, and a $25 Gift Certificate for shopping at Fashion Island, one of California's most extraordinary shopping destinations. Greens lees at Pelican Hill are $250 per round on weekends, so guests will save $500 each day on the golf portion alone if they stay and play on a weekend.
Package rates start at $450 to $495 per night for moderate, superior and deluxe rooms. These rooms feature a king or two double beds, a step-out balcony, and range from 435 to 600 square feet. Newport Beach Four Seasons Executive Suites also are available with a package rate of $530 per night. Each suite has a king-size bedroom with a living room separated by French doors. Guests enjoy views from two balconies in these 600-square-foot suites.
The per-night package prices are based on double occupancy and are available nightly through December 31, 2004, subject to availability. Guests receive the golf and spa options every day of their stay, so a couple staying three nights could play six rounds of golf at Pelican Hill, all included in the package price.
Golf will be enjoyed on the renowned Pelican Hill Golf Course, designed by golf architect Tom Fazio. Golfers of all experience levels can enjoy the picturesque beauty and challenging design of both the Ocean North and Ocean South courses in a spectacular setting overlooking Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean.
Those selecting the spa option in the Discovery Package can choose from a variety of 55-minute treatments including facials and massages.
Besides its 12th five-diamond rating for 2004, the luxurious 295-room Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach also boasts one of Zagat's most highly regarded dining rooms, Pavilion Restaurant. Another dining option is the scenic Grill at Pelican Hill, the highly rated restaurant operated by Four Seasons at the Pelican Hill Golf Club.
