MIAMI -- Opening of Holiday Inn Santa Fe Brings Total of 26 Holiday Inn Hotels in the Region
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) (NYSE:IHG) (LSE:IHG) (ADRs), the world's largest and most global hotel company, continues its aggressive expansion of the Holiday Inn brand in Latin America with the opening of the 100-room, 14-story Holiday Inn Santa Fe in Santa Fe, province of Santa Fe, Argentina. This opening demonstrates IHG's commitment to continue expanding its mid-scale brands throughout the region.
The Holiday Inn Santa Fe is situated in Santa Fe's commercial, banking, and financial area. It is also in close proximity to the city's finest shopping centers, historical sites, theaters, cinemas, and a variety of restaurants and nightlife venues.
The Holiday Inn Santa Fe has a number of rooms featuring panoramic views of the city and an elegant Presidential Suite. The hotel also features Giulio Restaurante, of italian cuisine, lobby bar, and Terrace Bar on the 14th floor next to the outdoor swimming pool and solarium. All 100 guestrooms have wireless Internet access and dual-line telephones with voice mail.
All guest rooms also feature safety deposit boxes, mini bars, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers and hairdryers. In addition, the hotel offers a Business Center, fitness center, sauna, gift shop and meeting rooms with capacity to host up to 200 people.
"IHG's mid-scale brands continue to be in very high demand in Latin America," says Alvaro Diago, Area President of InterContinental Hotels Group Latin America. "We plan to continue expanding the Holiday Inn brand throughout key cities in Central and South America to meet this demand."
IHG has a broad range of Holiday Inn properties in Latin America, including the Holiday Inn Select Jaragua and the Holiday Inn Parque Anhembi, both of which opened earlier this year in Brazil. The Holiday Inn Parque Anhembi has been recognized as the largest IHG property in Latin America and the fifth largest Holiday Inn in the world. Recently, IHG also opened the Holiday Inn Express Santiago, located in Santiago, Chile.
IHG, which has been serving Latin America for over 58 years, is represented in nearly every key market in Central and South America, making it one of the leading hotel companies in Latin America.
