MIAMI -- InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) (NYSE:IHG) (LSE:IHG) (ADRs), the world's largest and most global hotel company, opens its third Holiday Inn brand in three months with the opening of the 100-room, five-story Holiday Inn Express Santa Felicidade in Curitiba, Brazil, one of the country's fastest growing cities.
This hotel is the third Holiday Inn Express brand to open in the past three months, and 27th Holiday Inn Brand to open in Latin America -- a number that has virtually doubled in the last four years. It is also the 8th Holiday Inn property to open in Brazil and the second Holiday Inn Express property owned by L.N. Empreendimentos Imobiliarios Ltda in Curitiba.
Located in a historic suburb of Curitiba lies the Holiday Inn Express Santa Felicidade, surrounded by major business, entertainment, shopping and nightlife centers. The hotel is situated in the historic neighborhood of Santa Felicidade, known for its Italian influences and historic importance, providing guests with both cultural and gastronomic activities.
The Holiday Inn Express Santa Felicidade features dual-line telephones with voice mail, room safes, as well as irons and ironing boards, coffee makers and hairdryers, throughout its 100 guestrooms. In addition, the hotel offers a fitness center, indoor climatized swimming pool, a business center, along with an onsite laundry facility and eight meeting rooms, which have the capacity to host up to 400 people.
